The Good Fight

Everyday I'm fighting the good fight of faith 
Legions of demons uniting to disintegrate
Darts are shooting out fear to make me feel impaired 
I'm wearing God's armor and I'm well prepared 
Standing in the front line with Jesus by my side 
Speaking the Holy Word the demons tremble and hide 
Greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world 
The battle has already won as the Scriptures unfold 
Victory Victory is so sweet! Satan defeated once again 
Praises to Jesus Kings of all Kings! Jesus my savior always regain
Everyday I'm fighting the good fight of faith 
With the word in my mouth none can rebate

 The wait

Waiting for my groom seems so endless 
Anticipating the day we would meet makes me restless
In a World with millions of single men 
It's hard to tell which one is genuine 
Lord I know you won't steer me wrong 
But I'm afraid to choose even from the strong 
You see a man outer appearance may differ from his inner 
Only you can see his flaws and yet says he's a winner 
Yes I know we are all imperfect but are created in perfection 
I guess that is what draws our spiritual attraction 
Thinking to myself would he have the audacity to approach me 
Or feel intimidated by my anointing, could be? 
But Lord you knew this would happen why wasn't I warn? 
Ha! Cause you knew I would be mentally torn 
Waiting for my groom seems so endless 
But the best part of waiting is that I'm not hopeless.
